While working on this piece I have learned a lot about efficient modelling and hand painting details in Substance Painter. My main goal was to use actual concept art as reference instead of completely relying on my imagination.

Original weapon concept based on steampunk aesthetics
A concept I had in my head for a while, largely inspired by steampunk aesthetic. While working on this project I have learned a lot about sculpting details in Zbrush as well as playing around with Substance Painter and painting in custom details on top of texture maps.
